Call for Section Chairs for the SGIR's Fifth Pan-European International Relations Conference.

The deadline for proposals is soon approaching - April 30th 2003.

Full details are available at http://www.sgir.org/conf2004.htm

The academic programme for the conference will be organised in the usual format of Sections and Panels. A section is a number of panels linked by a common theme. Section chairs organise the panels, select panel chairs, and take responsibility for the actual execution of their section's part of the conference programme.

A section may consist of (at most) ten 90-minute panel sessions during the programme. The actual number of panels in each case is flexible, although each section should aim for a minimum of three panels. The conference can host about 25 parallel sessions - hence up to 250 panels.

Each 90-minute panel should ideally comprise three papers plus a discussant and chair.

Those interested in being designated as a Section Chair are hereby asked to submit a proposal. This proposal must include the following information:

The same for any Co-Chair;

A short title of proposed Section;

A 250-word outline of the main aims of the section;

A tentative indication of possible panel titles, and possible panel chairs.

All proposals should be sent to: mailto:conference2004@sgir.org
